Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the FreeVocalRemover website and its AI audio separation tool (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. The Service

FreeVocalRemover lets you upload an audio file and uses an AI model to split it into a vocal track and an instrumental track that you can play and download. Free use is currently limited to files of up to 6 minutes and 50 MB in MP3, WAV or M4A format, and to 3 separations per day per IP address. We may change these limits, or change or discontinue any part of the Service, at any time.

2. Your content and your rights to it

You may only upload audio that you own or have permission to use and process in this way. You keep all rights to your content. By uploading, you give us a limited permission to store and process the file and the resulting tracks solely to provide the Service to you, until they are deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for how you use the results. Separating a recording doesn't change who owns it: publishing, distributing or performing an instrumental, karaoke track or acapella of someone else's music generally requires permission from the rights holders.

3. No downloading from other platforms

The Service only processes files you upload. It does not download, convert or extract content from YouTube or any other website or streaming service, and you must not use it to process content you obtained in breach of another platform's terms. FreeVocalRemover is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload content that infringes anyone's copyright or other rights, or that is unlawful;
• get around the usage limits, for example by rotating IP addresses or automating requests;
• scrape, overload, attack or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• resell the Service or offer it to others as part of your own product without our permission.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

5. Copyright complaints

We don't host or publish user content: files are only reachable through private links that expire and are deleted automatically after about an hour. If you believe the Service is being used to infringe your rights, contact us at support@freevocalremover.app with the details and we will investigate.

6. Results and availability

AI separation is not perfect. Quality depends on the source recording, and results may contain artifacts or traces of the removed parts. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Download any results you want to keep, because they are deleted automatically.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeVocalRemover is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the effective date above when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
