Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data FreeVocalRemover ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and audio separation tool, how we use it and how long we keep it. The short version: we only process the audio you upload to separate it, and we delete it automatically after 1 hour.

Data we collect

• Audio files you upload and the two tracks we create from them (vocals and instrumental).
• Your IP address, which we use only to enforce the free daily limit. We store a hashed form of it, never the raw address, and the counter expires within about 25 hours.
• Job records: the ID of each separation, the file name and whether it succeeded. These expire automatically after 2 hours.
• Technical logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type and request time), used for security and troubleshooting and retained for a limited period.

We don't require an account and never ask for your name, email address or payment details. We don't use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics tools.

How we use your audio

Your audio is used only to perform the separation you request and to let you play and download the results. We don't listen to your files, share them with anyone except the service providers listed below, sell them or use them to train AI models.

Automatic deletion after 1 hour

Uploaded files and the results we create are deleted automatically 1 hour after upload. Our cleanup job runs every hour, so in the worst case a file is removed within 2 hours of upload. Download any results you want to keep before then; after deletion we cannot recover them. Our AI processing provider also automatically removes the inputs, outputs and logs of each separation from its own systems after 1 hour.

Service providers

We rely on the following providers, who process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare: website hosting and temporary file storage.
• Replicate: runs the AI model that separates your audio on GPU servers.
• Upstash: stores the hashed daily usage counters and short-lived job records.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. They are only allowed to use it to provide their services to us.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Uploads and results are kept in private storage that can only be reached through signed links that expire after 1 hour, and they are deleted on the schedule described above.

Children

FreeVocalRemover is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example in the EU, the UK or California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to how we process it. Because we keep almost no personal data and delete files within hours, most data will already be gone by the time a request reaches us, but we will always help. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves, for example if we add accounts or payments. We will change the effective date above when we do, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
